Christmas Cookies!
If you’ve been part of the Bake Club for a while, this month’s challenge may feel familiar — that’s intentional. We are repeating last December’s favorite: choose any recipe from the curated list of Christmas cookie recipes, or try one of the new cookie recipes that will be published here over the coming weeks.
Here are your options: bake any of the cookies featured in the “11 Favorite Christmas Cookie Recipes” collection, or bake one of the brand-new cookie recipes I’ll post during December. I’m working on a couple of new recipes that I can’t wait to share, so feel free to try those if you prefer.

Mevell Walnut Butcher Block Cutting Board
This is one of my all-time favorite cutting boards. It stays on my countertop because I use it every day and it’s attractive enough to leave out. The board measures 18″ x 12″ and is about 1 1/4″ thick. It feels solid and sturdy, and the handles on the sides make it easy to lift and clean.
I use this board for daily cooking and baking, and it often appears in photos on this site and my other blog. I truly love it, and I hope the winner of this month’s challenge will put it to good use. If you already own a similar board and would prefer a different prize, tell me and I’ll offer alternate options if you’re selected as the winner.

how to participate in the December bake club challenge
- Sign up for the Bake Club. If you’ve already signed up in the past, you don’t need to sign up again. Signing up ensures you receive an email each month when a new challenge and prize are announced, and it’s how I’ll contact you if you win. When you sign up, I’ll ask for your name and email address so I can notify the winner and arrange prize delivery.
- Bake this month’s challenge and share a photo. Take a clear photo of your cookies and post it to Instagram using the hashtag #OfBatterAndDoughBakeClub. You can also upload your photo to the Of Batter and Dough Facebook page, or email your photo to [email protected]. Submitting your photo before January 1st will enter you into the prize drawing.
- Earn a bonus entry. Leave a comment and rating for the Christmas cookie recipe you baked and receive an additional entry in the giveaway.
